![]() Job Posting Payroll Coordinator Responsibilities: Understand the administrative database as it relates to payroll; Monitor the accuracy of system records and maintain adequate error processing techniques; Coordinate manual record keeping to the existing payroll software; Assimilate/maintain payroll information to database; Quarterly and Annual Tax Reporting and W-2 preparation; Develop/maintain/enhance a record retention policy for payroll; Provide annual census reporting for FAS 106, retirement census, insurance audits, public accounting audits, and survey requests, others as requested; Provide timely statistical reporting. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s degree preferred); 5 to 7 years experience in active payroll administration; monthly, quarterly and annual tax filing experience/knowledge; annual W-2 processing; knowledge of Unemployment and Worker’s Compensation billing procedures; Payroll Information Systems experience (with Jenzabar HR IS system being highly desired); ability to effectively and clearly communicate with people in potentially stressful situations; proficiency in Microsoft computer programs (database programs desirable); strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task; ability to consistently meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines and a demonstrated desire to work in a team environment. Compensation: This is an hourly position reporting to the Director of Human Resources, is classified a grade 11, and has a starting rate of $13.68/hour on a 37.50 work week.
