![]() Job Posting Assistant Professor, Medieval and Early European History Responsibilities: The responsibilities include teaching three (3) courses per semester in introductory and upper level courses in Medieval and Early European (Continental) History prior to 1648 (including upper level courses in the candidate’s filed) as well as courses required of all majors, scholarly productivity, and service to the Department and University. The responsibilities of this position include teaching all of our introductory and upper level courses in the Ancient and Medieval history as well as our two courses required of all majors, HI-230 (Historical Thought) and HI-493 (Senior Seminar). Qualifications: Successful candidate should have completed Ph.D. by time of appointment, and demonstrate evidence of and a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and historical research.
