Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics and Astronomy

Ohio Wesleyan University’s Department of Physics and Astronomy invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position to begin August 2008. This is a one-year term position, with the possibility of extension for two additional years. We seek an enthusiastic instructor, able to teach a full range of departmental courses, and who will be able to supervise undergraduate research projects. The ability to include undergraduates in summer research and the desire to teach an introductory course in astronomy are plusses. A Ph.D. (or A.B.D.) in physics or a related field is required.
