![]() Job Posting Public Services Librarian The Public Services Librarian serves as librarian liaison to academic departments and programs as assigned (Education, English, Theatre/Dance), teaches information literacy skills, delivers collection development support, provides reference service (including one night a week and some weekend hours), and performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Graduate degree from an ALA accredited institution and another degree that supports assigned liaison areas, the ability to teach library instruction, provide collection development, answer reference questions using print and digital resources, and interest in enhancing the quality of the user experience using Web 2.0 technologies. We seek a self-motivated, energetic, service-oriented, flexible team-player who possesses excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
